Ben ki;
Sultan Murad Han oğlu Sultan Muhammed Fatih Han.
Bütün dünyaya ilan ediyorum ki;
kendilerine bu padişah fermanı verilen
Bosnalı Fransiskenler himayem altındadır
ve emrediyorum;
hiç kimse ne bu adı geçen insanları
ne de onların kiliselerini
rahatsız etmesin ve zarar vermesin.
Topraklarında huzur içinde yaşasınlar.
Ve dahi göçmen durumuna düşen insanlar
hür ve güvenlik içinde bulunsunlar.
Devlet-i Aliye'deki tüm memleketlere dönüp
korkusuzca kendi manastırlarına yerleşsinler.
ne padişahlık eşrafından
ne vezirlerden
ne hizmetkarlarımdan
ne de tebağımdan
hiç kimse bu insanların onurunu kırmayacak
ve onlara zarar vermeyecektir.
Hiç kimse bu insanların hayatlarına,
mallarına ve kiliselerine saldırmasın,
hor görmesin veya tehlikeye atmasın.
Hatta bu insanlar,
başka ülkelerden devletime birisini getirirse
onlar da aynı haklara sahiptir.
Bu padişah fermanı ilan ederek,
burada yerlerin, göklerin yaratıcısı ve efendisi Allah
Allah'ın Resûlu S.A.V.
ve yüzyirmidörtbin peygamber ile kuşandığım kılıç adına
yemin ediyorum ki;
emrime uyarak bana sadık kaldıkları sürece
tebağımdan hiç kimse
bu fermandan yazılanların aksini yapmayacaktır.
Ja sam sultan Mehmed han, neka je poznato svima, uopće od prostog puka kao i odjeljenjima ova moja vlastodržaća povelja, kojom bosanskim svećenicima ukazujem veliku pažnju, te zapovjedam: spomenutim i njihovim bogomoljama ne smije biti smetnje ni pritiska, neka se smjeste u svojim bogomoljama, te kako od uzvišene moje strane, tako od mojih vezira, niti od mojih podčinjenih (robova), niti od mojih podanika - raje niti od svega stanovništva cjelokupne moje države spomenutim nitko se nesmije miješati u njihove stvari niti ih napadati,ni vrijeđati ni njih ni njihov život, njihov imetak (imovinu) ni njihove bogomolje.Također iz tuđine osobito u moju državu dovoditi ljude dozvoljava im se. Stoga spomenutim izdajem moju uzvišenu zapovijed ukojoj im posvećujem svoju brigu i pažnju, te se kunem teškom zakletvom: Stvoriteljem i gospodarom zemlje i nebesa, sa sedam musafa,sa velikim Božijim vjesnikom (Muhamedom) i sa 124.000 pejgambera i sa sabljom koju pašem da ovim što je napisano nikoje lice ne smije se suprostaviti dok god ovi (Franjevci) služe meni i mojoj zapovjesti budu pokorni.

The Command of the honorable, sublimeSultan’s sign and shining seal of the conquerorof the world is as follows:
I, the Sultan Mehmet-Khan inform all the world that the ones who posses this Imperial Edict, the Bosnian Franciscans, have got into my good graces, so I command:
Let nobody bother or disturb those who are mentioned, not their churches. Let them dwell in peace in my Empire. And let those who have become refugees be and safe. Let them return and let them settle down their monasteries without fear in all the countries of my Empire. Neither my Royal Highness, nor my vezires or employees, nor my servants, nor any of the citizens of my Empire shall insult or disturb them. Let nobody attack insult or endanger neither their life or their propertyor the property of their church. Even if they bring somebody from abroad into my country,they are allowed to do so. As, thus, I have graciously issued this Imperial Edict, hereby take my great oath. In the name of the Creator of the Earthand Heaven, the one who feeds all creatures, and in the name of the Muhammad our great Messenger, and in the name of 124 thousand messengers (of Allah), and in the name of the sword I put, nobody shall do contrary to what has been written, as long as they are obedient and faithful to my Command.
